Chinese used rockets for fireworks...
As well as military rockets.
Reaction force that propels a rocket forward is thrust.
It moves forward because gases shooting out.
Advantage to multi-step rocket is total weight reduced.

Something I was surpirised by was that the first rockets, invented in China, were built in the 1100's.
Something that I found interesting was was that China used rockets as fireworks.
I was surprised by the fact that the advantage to multi-step rockets reduce the total weight.
I learned alot about the history of tockets from your poster. I found the function of the rockets the most interesting. I was surprised that the Chinese used rockets in the 1100's.
